Movement for Activating Global Impact through Collaboration

What Will You Do?

As a participant in the MAGIC Program, you’ll embark on an exciting journey to explore and address global challenges! Here’s what you’ll take part in:

Assigned Topics

You’ll be assigned a pressing global issue to investigate in depth. Understanding the complexities of this issue is the first step toward proposing effective solutions.

Global Sustainability Goal

Represent a specific European country and research a Global Sustainability Goal (SDG) through the lens of that nation. This will allow you to explore unique national perspectives, challenges, and strategies related to your assigned goal.

Country Research

Dive into your country’s policies, culture, and ongoing efforts to achieve the assigned SDG. Investigate how your country is addressing the goal, the progress it has made, and the challenges it faces. This research will help you understand your country’s role in the global effort toward a more sustainable future.

Display Board Creation

Design a colourful, informative display board that showcases your findings and represents your country in a visually engaging way.

Blueprint for Change

Draft a Blueprint for Change — a written proposal that outlines the issue, highlights key problems, and presents practical, country-based solutions. This will be a central element of your conference presentation.

Zoom Conferences

Participate in a series of Zoom sessions with students from other schools. These workshops will help guide your research, support your preparation, and give you a platform to collaborate with peers.

Get ready to make a difference and work together to create real, actionable solutions!

What’s Expected of You

As a MAGIC participant, you are expected to:

Research Thoroughly

Understand the global issue in detail and explore it from your assigned country’s viewpoint. Consider its policies, challenges, and contributions.

Develop Your Blueprint for Change

Clearly outline the challenges and propose practical, relevant solutions tailored to your country’s context.

Create a Compelling Display Board

Present your country’s culture, approach, and ideas in a visually appealing way. Include key facts, solutions, and creative elements to capture interest.

Engage in Zoom Sessions

Attend four collaborative Zoom workshops. These will focus on research strategies, presentation techniques, and peer feedback.

Present and Collaborate at the Conference

Take an active role in group sessions and discussions. Be respectful, open-minded, and ready to collaborate with others as you work toward common solutions.
